Over the past few years, IronMad and his family have held events to raise funds for Save the Children. It started off small, with family and friends gathered round the piano singing songs and carols which raised around £30. The following year it was carol singing (£75) and the year later, an afternoon tea was held in IronMad's back garden which raised around £250. The latest event was a concert featuring local acts in October 2014, which raised over £1270.
